What will be catered in the Outdoor Gear Shop?

As you know, Explorations has a wide range of activities, from camping, paddling, biking, skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling, scuba diving, and rock/ice climbing, some, if not a lot, of these gear recommendations will be transferable from one activity to another. We focused on starting on some of the basics for camping and rock climbing to get you kick started on the essentials and hopefully an affordable price point as an entry point and accessible for you to start enjoying these fun outdoor adventures.

However, the Outdoor Gear Shop will ultimately entail outdoor equipment, outdoor clothing, and little travel products that will enhance your enjoyment and safety while abroad!

Why start the Outdoor Gear Shop?

With our knowledge on gear, catering to first timers outdoors, getting into an activity, or simply those who’re looking to build up their gear closet, this is our basis of recommendation. Knowing everyone needs to start somewhere, budget, and building up the skillset and gear collection, we hope this collection of catered outdoor gear will help you out. Admittedly we just started this specific page, we aim to continue to grow it as we build up our gear reviews and thereby the repertoire on the page.

As part of out excitement in sharing our reviews and stories, this is to get you excited to get outdoors and inspired to explore. Through this, and the connection of being in mother nature, you will find a connection, or re-connection, to not only the beauty of the world and nature, but also to yourselves. It can be an incredibly healing experience to just live in the present moment and hear nothing but loons and the winds rustling in the trees. Your TV and phone gets replaced by the campfire and moonlight, as the stars reveal themselves in the great constellations above.

We hope that this (re-)connection to nature will encourage a mores sustainable lifestyle, understanding our impact to the larger ecosystem. Additionally take comfort in knowing that the gear recommendation will be from companies that are environmentally conscious and prioritize sustainability.
