We are a small team of 3 adventure travel enthusiasts, who tackle big adventures while sharing our stories, gear suggestions and tips on everything travel adventure related!
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore all the world has to offer. With so much outdoor adventure travel, we have grown up to learn to try and live in a way that is sustainable. We believe that it is important to protect our planet and its resources.
About the Blog
Explorations is a blog that focuses on adventure travel to enable others to explore the world around them. We share stories, tips and gear suggestions to provide accessibility into adventure travel activities. Some of the adventure travel activities we enjoy are camping, paddling, biking, skiing, snowboarding, motorcycling, scuba diving, and rock/ice climbing.
We carry the belief that everyone deserves to experience the world around them. We hope to inspire others to get outside and explore adventure!
The Team

From scuba diving wrecks at 30m to climbing in the Himalayas at 6,200m, and travelling to some of the least travelled countries in the world, like North Korea, I like to explore the world by adventure! I feel like this is the ultimate way to explore our globe. Part of the exploration is to also see what drives us, and connect us, to be human.
In a career as a sustainable development practitioner, I’m working a 9 to 5 work life adventure balance. I share this blog with two of my best friends to share our journey in continuously finding adventure in the outdoors and international travel. As we move through this journey, I try to find the most sustainable way for adventure travelling and living.

All my life I have been drawn to the outdoors. Often times I feel more at home out in nature than in my actual home. The world is full of adventures waiting to be experienced, and Explorations provides a way for me to document them and share them with family and friends as well as seasoned adventurers and those just starting out.
I consider myself as a “Jack of all trades and master of none.” I experience the world through a variety of activities and in no way consider myself an expert at anything. My journeys have taken me through parts of Europe, South and North America and the Caribbean, but there is always more to see, experience and learn.
If I can inspire people to take up a new hobby or even just get out and explore what’s in their own backyard I will consider this a success.

You know that feeling you get when you unlock a new skill in a video game or beat a boss after 16 lives? That’s my motivation! Life can be just as much a video game as Legend of Zelda or Forza… except now instead of my thumbs hurting, it’s everything hurting… and instead of restarting, it’s my back I’m breaking or brain injury I’m suffering through… wait, was I supposed to be motivating you? haha whatever, just come along, it’ll be great!
Sign me up as another master of none, just Jack of some different trades. top tip to being a Jack, try and surround yourself with people better than you at anything you like to do. I’ll be showing you what I know, and learning with you (or from you) what I don’t.
As a recent transplant to the west coast of Canada, I’m hoping to hype everyone here on how awesome everything is outside the hours of 9 and 5. Let’s go on adventures, find new places, learn new things, talk about all the stuff that I (and i would imagine… you) like and generally build a group of awesome people doing awesome things.
